The app's four tours

Follow the temporary exhibition with around twenty commentaries, in French and English. The second recounts the mansion itself, room by room, in ten languages: French, English, Italian, Dutch, Japanese, Chinese, Russian, German, Portuguese, and Spanish. The narration is entrusted to a well-known historical presenter, whom I won’t name here. The third is a musical tour. The fourth is designed for children and takes the form of a mystery, completed in the galleries by an investigative game running until December 31, 2026.

App or audio guide

The app is free and adapts to your pace, but it drains your battery and requires headphones. The physical audio guide is collected on-site, paid for, and returned upon leaving. I won’t disclose its price, as that’s not my responsibility. Both recount the same house, described on what to see at the museum.

How much extra time it adds

Listening extends your visit. Allow 1 ½ to 2 hours without commentary, longer with it, and an additional 45 minutes to 1 hour for the exhibition. The room-by-room timing is available on the visit duration page.
